Pure Himalayan Salt Lumps - Food Grade Mineral Salt for Sole Water & Natural Use

Ancient Himalayan Salt – 100% Natural, Unrefined Crystal Salt

Our Himalayan Salt Lumps are sourced from ancient mineral deposits formed over 250 million years ago at the foothills of the Himalayas. Naturally preserved deep within the earth, this salt has been protected from modern environmental pollution, making it one of the most sought-after natural mineral salts in the world.

Unrefined and minimally processed, these large salt crystals are ideal for culinary use, mineral water preparations (Sole water), and natural wellness routines.

What Are Himalayan Salt Lumps?

Himalayan salt lumps are large, raw crystal formations of natural rock salt. Unlike refined table salt, they are unprocessed and mineral-rich, containing naturally occurring trace elements that give the salt its distinctive pink colour.

They are commonly used for:

  • Making Sole water (salt-saturated mineral water)
  • Natural mineral hydration practices
  • Culinary seasoning (grinding fresh as needed)
  • Traditional wellness routines

Naturally Occurring Minerals

Himalayan salt contains a naturally balanced spectrum of trace minerals, including:

  • Magnesium
  • Calcium
  • Potassium
  • Iron
  • Zinc
  • Copper

These minerals occur naturally within the salt crystal structure and contribute to its unique colour and taste.

What is Sole Water?

Sole (pronounced “so-lay”) is a traditional preparation made by fully saturating water with natural salt crystals.

It is created when water absorbs as much Himalayan salt as it can hold, forming a mineral-rich salt solution often used in natural wellness routines.

The term “Sole” comes from the Latin word “Sol” meaning sun.

Sole water has been traditionally used as part of natural lifestyle practices for hydration support and mineral intake.

How to Make Sole Water

You will need:

  • 1 glass jar (preferably wide-mouth mason jar)
  • Plastic or non-metal lid
  • 1/4 jar of Himalayan salt lumps
  • Filtered water

Instructions:

  1. Fill the jar approximately 1/4 full with Himalayan salt lumps
  2. Add filtered water until the jar is nearly full, leaving a small gap at the top
  3. Seal with a non-metal lid and gently shake
  4. Leave at room temperature overnight
  5. In the morning, check if salt remains at the bottom
    • If salt remains, the water is fully saturated and ready to use
    • If all salt dissolves, add more salt and repeat until saturation is reached

How to Use Sole Water

  • Add 1 teaspoon of Sole water to a glass of fresh water
  • Take once daily, typically in the morning before food or drink
  • Always dilute before consumption

You may also add lemon to taste if desired.

Storage Instructions

  • Store Sole water at room temperature
  • Keep jar tightly sealed
  • As a naturally salt-saturated solution, it is highly stable when prepared correctly
